How to Build the Ultimate Drupal Navigation System

This is a tutorial on the theory, and methods used to create this site's multi-level top navigation menu. The tutorial covers everything from obscure drupal php fuctions to generate custom dynamic menus, to advanced CSS techniques and practices. Warning: this tutorial will forever change the way you see drupal's navigation, and CSS. That's a promise (so long as you aren't already an expert).

Big suggestion

For starts, don't put up an annoying alert every time I view this page in Safari.Instead of telling us "safari support is limited" just let us use whatever does workwithout annoying us.

I wish I knew javascript,

I wish I knew javascript, than I'd be happy to do that. You should probably tell these guys not to do that: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/ Of course, I'd also recommend that you tell Steve Jobs to stop making his products so terribly unfriendly to the standards that everyone else uses. THanks for lettign me know about this, though. I wasn't aware that the TinyMCE editor was bugging every safari user.

Safari warnings fixed

I just added an option to disable Safari warnings via the TinyMCE interface. Being a Mac user, I too find it annoying. http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=23904
